Teddie-Joy Remhild passed away on August 11, 2016. This website, Disability and Aging Advocacy, was an offering of both her professional skills and her lifelong experience. Teddie-Joy lived independently as a blind woman for over 42 years, with a degree in Gerontology from USC. She was both an educator and an advocate. She also strived to be a positive role model for people with disabilities. "I believe that my disability has been the blessing which has allowed me to develop my potential, my skills and my commitment to independence. As a professional consultant on disability and aging, I bring both academic knowledge as well as real life experience to the table."

WE LOVE YOU TEDDIE-JOY
