Teddie-Joy Remhild passed away on August 11, 2016. This website, Disability and Aging Advocacy,
was an offering of both her professional skills and her lifelong experience.
Teddie-Joy lived independently as a blind woman for over 42 years, with a degree in Gerontology from USC. She was both an educator and an advocate.
She also strived to be a positive role model for people with disabilities.
